Vicky Douglas

Shoreview, Minnesota

Vicky recalls that in sixth grade, she was assigned to design a kite. Using nothing but a Hefty garbage bag, she crafted her first creation and even used white-out to draw Snoopy on it. Fast forward to her 30s, when she met Tammy—they instantly clicked and quickly became the best of friends. Tammy is passionate about every hobby imaginable, and through her, Vicky discovered a whole new world of adventures. The two now team fly together, sharing endless hours of laughter and fun in the sky. Vicky’s current favorite kite is “Bohdi,” a custom-built African Gray Parrot created by Peter Lynn, which has quickly become a beloved companion in their kite-flying escapades.
